Will the strange children who captured the survivors from Campton turn out to be salvation ... or doom?
Captured by a mysterious army just as they escaped a Campton overrun with ‘zombie’ children, Dodzi’s group, along with what’s left of the Clan of the Shark, discover an entire civilisation, ruled over by children who have been in the In-Between-World for a long, long time. Strict rules, a caste system, bizarre superstitions... All new obstacles for the group to overcome – although Saul is being treated like a messiah. And over it all hangs the threat of the sinister Midnight Child...
Key Points:
'The Vanishing is such a good beginning, focused, a comic that kids will absolutely love with adventure and intrigue, and 5 great characters to get behind. This first volume sets the tone firmly - smart drama with the potential to go in a variety of directions ...' Zainab Akhtar [Comics & Cola]
Fabien Vehlmann got into comics by flooding Spirou Magazine with proposed scripts until he was accepted. Since then he’s proven his mettle with such hits as Green Manor and a Spirou one-off, before becoming in 2009 the new official team for Dupuis’ flagship series with Yoann. His biggest hit is award winning series Alone, illustrated by Bruno Gazzotti. Gazzotti started by doing odd jobs at Spirou Magazine, eventually becoming Tome and Janry’s assistant on Little Spirou. In 1990 he takes over the art on SODA, a highly successful series that will make him a household name.

- An expressive, refined style with a very energetic layout
- By the author of Green Manor
- The series has obtained the 9-12 Youth Prize at the prestigious Angoulême Festival twice, along with two Top Awards from Le journal de Mickey
