This page is devoted to:
* events in which book&volume has an involvement
* events of an Elizabethan, Jacobean or Shakespearean nature (festivals, conferences)
* threatrical events, where the plays of Shakespeare, his contemporaries, his mates or fellow travellers are performed.
Unusual events, that have a particular flavour, for instance, a performance where Juliet from Venus and Romeo is from Mars, will also rate a mention.
Let us know of any event and include the usual who, what, when and where details. A weblink would be good too.
Oh, and yes, the listing is free.
Note: The dates shown below may indicate only the first date of an event's season. We will endeavour to alter dates as seasons progress but we can't guarantee to update daily.

| Navigating the corridors of power is easy if you know how to take a few short cuts. Richard III tells the story of an obsessed man with twisted ambitions, who manipulates, marries and murders his way to the top. Set as a contemporary political thriller, this gripping production dissects the corruption of power in testing times; when peace is abandoned and enemies mount in the minds of the paranoid.
Suave, calculating and brutal, meet one of Shakespeare’s greatest villains. |
