'O wonder!
How many goodly creatures are there here!
How beauteous mankind is! O brave new world
That has such people in't.'
Although
The Tempest
was the first play to appear in the first official Folio printing of Shakespeare's plays, it was almost certainly the last play he wrote. It held pride of place in that first collection, presumably because the editors thought it to be his masterpiece; a crowning glory to the career of the master playwright.
This easy to use photocopiable resource & CD-ROM is designed with a focus on fun as well as learning. This resource can be used alongside the Classical Comics graphic novel as well as any traditional text. Many of the activities can stand on their own as introductions to the world of Shakespeare. Most of the activities look at Shakespeare's use of language, but you will also see applications for history, information communication technology, drama, and art.
