The cursed Crusade comes to an end beneath the blood-soaked ruins of Jerusalem's walls.

With the Master of Machines as their new leader, the Crusaders are ready to assault Jerusalem once more. The Sultan must now choose between his love for a Christian princess and his faith.

And Gauthier of Flanders, to free his ally Osarias' Jewish people, will have to confront the last part of his mysterious past, a Jinni. As the final battle is joined, truths will be revealed on the nature of gods and demons and the ambitions of men.

Key Points:
  • Translated into English for the first time
  • A rich and complex scenario that revisits a fascinating period of history - the Crusades - and adds to the legends of the Holy Land
  • A bright, sharply drawn art that is as much at ease conveying the magic of the desert as depicting the epic horror of battles

Jean Dufaux is an established author who created many series throughout his long career. Among others, we can name: 'Giacomo C', 'Sang de Lune' and, more recently, 'La Complainte des Landes Perdues'. Sometimes called 'Jean the Prolific', at ease with practically every style, his most famous heroine remains, of course, 'Jessica Blandly'. Before returning to France in 2003, Philippe Xavier studied in Argentina and worked in Chile, then lived for 12 years in the USA, where he worked for Marvel and Peregrine Entertainment, drew 18 issues of 'Legendlore' for Caliber Comics and collaborated on the magazines Heavy Metal, Chaos! and Frank Frazetta Illustrated.
