A new, little known version of the famous shootout at Tombstone!

Everyone’s heard of the Gunfight at O.K. Corral: the most famous shootout of the Old West, between the Earp brothers and Doc Holliday on the side of law and order, and the Clanton brothers and their gang. A legend told many times in books and films, in sometimes contradictory versions ... Fortunately, here is the definitive version at last, restoring the unvarnished truth of what is another triumph of … Lucky Luke!

Key Points:
  • Lucky Luke is one of the most famous cartoon characters, alongside Asterix and Tintin
  • Bestselling European comic series ever, with more than 300 million copies sold worldwide in over 30 languages
  • Lucky Luke comics were made into several animated cartoons. In 1991 Terence Hill directed a cinema adaptation in which he played the lead role, and in 2009 James Huth directed a new version with French comic Jean Dujardin in the lead role
  • Suitable for adults and children
  • Published in English for the first time

Born and raised in Belgium, Morris moved to the United States in 1946 for six years. There, he worked for MAD magazine and met René Goscinny, with whom he collaborated from 1955 until Goscinny’s death in 1977. Jean Léturgie co-created the character of Percevan before he began an enduring cooperation withXavier Fauche. Fauche, a well-known figure in French radio, wrote for the French version of Jim Henson’s show Fraggle Rock and co-created the cartoon Les Tifous. His enduring cooperation with Jean Léturgie produced eight Lucky Luke titles. Eric Adam has been a writer for over 20 years, during which he’s worked on numerous titles of Marsupilami, Rantanplan and Lucky Luke.
